Font - AITA I yelled at a student's dad and told him to eff off. I (F18) look exactly like my sister (22). Whenever we meet new people they always assume we are identical twins. We most definitely are not. My sister just finished her degree and is now a teacher. I am working at a restaurant that has skimpy uniforms. I'm having a quick vape on a break and some guy walks by with his kid. I see his kid grab his dad and say something. The dad walks back to me and says that I should be ashamed of mys

Font - I tell him that it's not really his business but we are sisters not twins. He says he's going to go into my school and report me for this. I have had enough. My break was over so I raised my voice, him to go ahead, and get He looked all shocked. I told my coworkers and they all think it's funny. I told my mom and she says I should have handled it better because it could affect my sister's job. My dad says I was polite twice and that's enough. My sister is pissed at me and is not looking f

Font - Lov FileDoesntExist 17 hr. ago Colo-rectal Surgeon [43] I was thinking about this as well. Why should she be ashamed of herself? Like, you thought it was cool to bring your kid there unless it's a woman you actually know so then have to acknowledge that the waitresses are people? 2.6k Reply Share

I had a similar situation with a parent and went scorched earth on them, except from the teacher's perspective. Not necessarily the sexualising part, but a general misunderstanding of the situation.

Font - stop_spam_calls 13 hr. ago Well all your sister really has to do is get ahead of it. She can email her boss about the interaction and include a picture of you and her. You can be cc'd in the email and explain your side. If they have a meeting about it either go with them or phone in. ΝΤΑ 628 Reply Share

Font - TomTheLad79. 13 hr. ago Yep. She's probably going to be mortally embarrassed, but her boss needs to know about it directly from her. Like, first thing tomorrow morning. 314 Reply Share

Font - sunroadreader 10 hr. ago . Oh no, there's no reason to be embarrassed. That s***'s hilarious. Can you imagine what happens when the students find out about it? And you know they will. This is marvelous for everyone involved, except for the one dad.

Font - Basil475 9 hr. ago Its not at all marvelous for the sister. Kids are mean. I guarantee the second that gets out, those kids will make her life a living hell. They aren't going to care about the actual story, depending on age they're going to say what the other kids/their parents say about their teacher, or whatever makes her sound the worst. 138 Reply Share

Font - SamuelVimesTrained 6 hr. ago Include a demand the school take this parent to task for harassing her younger sister. And make a note that if his kid makes issues - this will be reported. what this dude did could be seen as harassment or even a threat. 95 Reply Share

Font - Ambitious_Balance451 3 hr. ago Yep and if the boss gets pissy about what you did, sister should ~gently remind them that this dude marched up to a teenage girl and began verbally harassing her in public and then when she tried to do the polite thing of informing him of his mistake, called her a liar and had the nerve to be shocked when she told him what she thought of his behavior. 62 Reply Share
